Major life changes that directly affect the child; going off to school or going to a new school; a change in babysitters or teachers or moving to a new home
A life threatening or changing event like a natural disaster
If your child has the typical symptoms of anxiety a simple phone call to your pediatrician may be all you need. Use this checklist to help them understand what has been occurring. If the problem persists or becomes more severe the solution doesn’t need to include medication. When trying a natural anxiety treatment for your child’s anxiety make sure that it is age appropriate.
